CEE Eldercare Alliance

Danish.Care is involved in a new export project targeted the CEE-region. The project aims to identify market opportunities within eldercare in the region. 

Danish.Care handles contact with the danish industry and is also responsible for events in Denmark in cooperation with other players.

The project is initiated by The Danish Trade Council, and it is build on a collaboration with teams from Poland, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Hungary and Slovakia.

Central topics within the CEE-region is:

  • eHealth & Digitalisation
  • Upgrading and development of hospitals
  • Centralisation of hospitals
  • Mental health
  • Eldercare

One of the initiatives within the project is a 5-step virtual export drive in the 5 countries named "CEE Virtual Export Drive".

The export drive took place from the 17th May to the 17th June 2021. In this period of time international visitors had the opportunity to visit the Pavillon of Denmark. Minister for Foreign Affairs in Denmark, Jeppe Kofoed, opened the export drive with a welcome speech. 

11 companies from the trade participated in the export drive. The export drive was co-financed by the Trade Council.

CEE Virtual Export Drive was the first step in building a long-term eldercare alliance with danish companies.

Next step will be physical sales meetings, conferences, market visits to the regional stakeholders in the five focus countires, and delegation visits to Denmark.
